FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend
Barça revealed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months following their departure for construction to commence.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
Recent Activities
Barcelona held a public practice at the Camp Nou in early November. Officials stated approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt in December at the stadium. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
